Essential requirements:
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations: In-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations in various jurisdictions (Europe, Asia, America and Africa).
  • Double Taxation Agreements: Familiarity with double taxation treaties and their application to reduce the tax burden on companies.
  • Transfer Pricing: Knowledge of transfer pricing rules and practices, including required documentation and audit defense.
  • Corporate Counseling: Experience in corporate tax and legal advice for multinational companies.
  • Tax planning: Ability to develop and execute tax planning strategies in compliance with local and international laws.
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA(Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser), or similar.
  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration or related field.
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in international taxation and account management in a multinational environment.
  • Sectorial: Experience working with companies in diverse sectors such as manufacturing, services, technology and commerce.
  • Financial and Tax Analysis: Ability to analyze complex financial and tax data, identify risks and opportunities, and formulate effective tax strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop tax structures that maximize tax efficiency and minimize risk exposure.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams and tax authorities.
  • Negotiation and Persuasion: Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Account Management: Experience in key account management, including strategic planning and long-term relationship management.
  • CRM competency: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Automation and Technology: Knowledge of emerging technologies in taxation, such as artificial intelligence and big data analytics.
  • Languages: Fluency in several languages, including English, and preferably other languages relevant to the regions of operation (Spanish, French, Portuguese, etc.).
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Maintain high standards of professional ethics and confidentiality in the handling of customer information.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in tax and accounting regulations, as well as to different cultures and business environments.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead projects and coordinate with external consultants when necessary.
